REAL ESTATE LITIGATION COVERAGE

From time to time a buyer will discover major defects with the property which has been purchased. Other times, the seller has illicitly removed items from the home which were agreed to be transferred in the agreement of purchase and sale.

Many clients find themselves with little recourse because taking the matter to court will often cost more in legal fees than the value of the claim.

To address this problem, we offer our real estate clients the option of obtaining flat fee real estate litigation coverage. For a nominal flat fee, the client will receive:

1 hour of post closing negotiation
the drafting of a statement of claim
issuance of a statement of claim in small claims court (claims of $10,000.00 or less)
service of the statement of claim
legal advice at pre-trial
legal advice at settlement conference
legal advice at trial

Please note that this service does not extend to litigation which may involve real estate professionals or financial institutions.
